This unit allows a car with ignition system problems to be started and driven. It operates as a substitute ignition system by passing points condenser and coil in conventional systems. It also bypasses pick-up and control units in GM HEI systems. The unit is mounted in the engine compartment. The on/off switch, which is on a long lead, reaches the driver's compartment. Simple connections and a flip of the switch is all that is needed to start the car. This system is also ideal for marine use. NOTE: Will not work on vehhicles with computer-controlled fuel systems.
